"Tahoe Sunset " 22.5 x 20.5 in.

This illustration was done after "Tahoe Moonset - Winter" as the companion piece. Like the winter piece, this one celebrates the serenity of Lake Tahoe -- noted here during sunset. In the past, my favorite method of depicting sunsets at Tahoe was with water color painting. I tried to mimic that style here in the lake and sky. The time of year is mid summer when the wildflowers are in bloom.
